Hello,
I’m Raymond Connors, an Australian, and I am an instructor at Universities in Vietnam.
For many years now I have known that there is a distinction between western medical philosophy, and eastern medical philosophy.
Basically, western medicine is largley made up of interventionist practices to attack and remedy the SYMPTOMS of a disease AFTER it has begun its damage, and eastern medicine seeks to locate the CAUSE of disease and prevent its recurrance, or eliminate its chance to get a foot-hold BEFORE it becomes a threat.
Some years ago I was involved with a nutritional product that was based on eastern synergistic combination of herbal foods, and I witnessed many people on their way to wellness-Unfortunately the product became too expensive for most people, and sadly I watched people who had regenerated their health fall back into less than wonderful health because they could no longer afford the product.
Both western and eastern medicine can have positive impact on patient treatment, and one does not have any significant advantage over the other.
For example, it may be very well to adopt an eastern type approach to a headache, that is to find out the cause of the headache and attack that, but whilst that is happening, there is no reason why the patient should be in discomfort, so the use of an asprin to alleviate the pain is quite in order.
Here I have collected a number of treatments for common conditions we find in the west, and I hope you will find some relief in some of them.
The majority of the treatments follow the natural remedy approach, and can be used without fear of side effects.
They are not the usual remedies that drug companies will want you to know about.
Look down the list of blog entries and find the problem that affects you, and click that entry.
Each entry will have a link to more information about the treatment for the condition that you select, and you can make your own decisions to try or not.
Good health and happiness to you.
